So, yes, Ive gone off the deep end and have decided to homeschool the kids.
So far we've dealt with the "I can't"s, the tears, the "it is too hard" and the "I don't know how"s. Now none of their work was actually too difficult, once we got past the whining they got it done, but they're trying to get out of doing anything that takes effort.
We've discovered that Buddy's is capable of adding double digit numbers very quickly and Bean just finished her first book report, she read "Meet Addy" from the American Girl series.

^Bean's book report form, she seemed to enjoy it and it combined writing and coloring.
We also decorated our clipboards with paper scraps, poems, inspirational words, cut outs from magazines and mod podge to seal it all on. I will post pictures when they are dry.
I am still working on organization, I don't want to do too much because I have no clue where we stand with K12 and would hate to get all set up and then have to start over with their program.
I also have some great resources, I can't imagine homeschooling without the internet.
